George Powell

CEO

George L. Powell, Jr. is the Co-founder and Managing Partner of BLDG, who is committed to empowering underserved communities through real estate development and education. With a background in leadership, entrepreneurship, and faith-based community building, George also serves as CEO of Exponential Equity Group (EEG), a multi-industry holding company focused on real estate, EdTech, and healthcare ventures. He is a board member at Community Action of Greater Indianapolis (CAGI) and the Co-founder of Purpix Education, an EdTech company. Through BLDG, George merges his personal mission of faith, legacy, and justice with practical action—helping others build wealth, skills, and transformational community assets. His work is rooted in the belief that real estate is not just about land, but about liberation.
